The purpose of this article is to examine situational prevention of registration crimes within the context of the Compulsory Official Registration Law. The research employs a qualitative data method and is descriptive and analytical in nature, utilizing note-taking as its tool. The findings indicate that adopting preventive strategies has proven effective in reducing registration crimes, a matter which has also been taken into account in legislation. This has been examined in two domains of situational prevention: offender-oriented and victim-oriented. Within the framework of the Compulsory Registration Law, the offender-oriented situational preventive measures for registration crimes include target hardening (such as invalidating transactions based on informal documents, issuing cadastral title deeds, and assigning a unique identifier), input control through standardized contracts, formal supervision by requiring executive bodies to respond online to inquiries, reducing the payoff (including restricting the right to litigate and systematizing informal documents), and removing excuses by establishing regulations concerning the verification of informal transactions. The victim-oriented situational preventive measures include increasing the risks of committing a crime through formal supervision (e.g., reflecting judicial rulings and certificates of inheritance exclusivity), target hardening via an electronic document registration system, input control by empowering individuals to verify transactions, redirecting criminal acts regarding contract rescission, and reducing the payoff by recording private conditions and contracts as provided for within the framework of the Compulsory Registration Law
