The aim of this study is to design a model for regulating employment contracts to establish stable and fair labor relations. The main research question focuses on identifying practical principles and strategies applicable to the proposed model for employment contracts. This study follows a qualitative approach, is exploratory in nature, and applied in terms of its objective. In the first phase, a critical content analysis of the Iranian Labor Law was conducted as the legal framework governing employment contracts. In the second phase, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with contractual employees, and the content of their perspectives and expectations was analyzed. The findings revealed that the Iranian Labor Law contains deficiencies that lead to job insecurity, imbalance of power, lack of legal clarity, and inequality in compensation and social protection. Accordingly, a proposed model was developed based on four core principles: job security, legal clarity, power balance, and fairness in compensation. The study concludes that adhering to these principles can enhance the quality of labor relations, increase employee trust and job satisfaction, and promote fair and sustainable employment practices in Iran. To achieve this goal, a revision of related laws and policies and the strengthening of enforcement mechanisms are essential.
